Buttonize & Posterize

This effects darkens the border of the selection and if posterize is selected, the color resolution will be reduced to simulate poster-like quality reduction.

Border Size

maximum distance from the border of the selection where a point will be dimmed.

Posterize

reduce color resolution

Number of Bitplanes

The resolution will be reduced from 8 bits per color to 8-Number_of_Bitplanes bits per color. To reduce brightness loss caused by setting bitplanes to 0, the brightness will be increased in such a way that the maximum possible color is white.
